In just under a week, the crowds will descend upon Upcote Farm in Cheltenham with beer and high spirits for the 11th instalment of 2000trees Festival. This year’s stellar lineup boasts a huge selection of punk and alternative rock acts including Mallory Knox, Nothing But Thieves, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Slaves and Lower Than Atlantis. If (somehow) the incredible list of artists isn’t quite enough and you need a few more reasons to come to 2000trees, then look no further. We’ve got your back.

The Forest Sessions

Maybe you’ve seen some of these artists before, or you think you’ll just catch them another time. If that’s the case, you’re going to miss out on the Forest Sessions, where your favourite acts play intimate acoustic sets that you won’t see anywhere else.

The Size

Clashes are a festival nightmare. Nothing is worse than running between stages in an attempt to see every band you like, or leaving a show early so you have time to walk across the festival site in time for another act. At 2000trees, this isn’t an issue – all five main stages are within a 10 minute walk of each other. No more hiking for hours on end!

The Price

At only £110 for a three-day ticket, you’re getting some seriously good value for money. With over 130 artists on offer, you’re paying less than 85p per band – where else could you see The Front Bottoms for under a quid?

The Food and Drink

At many festivals you’ll end up living off dirty burgers and £5 pints of Carling. At 2000trees you can find a huge range of food, from the American-style Chicken Shack to the Mediterranean street food of Castaway Kitchen and the infamous Cheese Truck! Your drink options are equally varied, with a selection of locally produced ciders, lagers and ales on offer.

The People

Despite everything the festival organisers put into 2000trees, one of the things that makes it so special is the people (yes, you guys)! It’s frequently regarded as one of the friendliest festivals around, so whether you’re going in a group or on your own, you’re certain to meet a whole bunch of wonderful people. Still not convinced? Drop us a message and we’ll come hang out with you and have a pint.
