RnB – It’s a wide and expansive genre as most are nowadays, with the lines between genres of music continuing to be blurred day-by-day. A style capturing a lot of people’s attention is this glossy, decadent and sultry take on RnB popularised by the likes of Bryson Tiller and The Weeknd.

Along with a lot of things in life achieving and executing that sound correctly is easier said than done, but continuing to set the bar are singer-producer duo SWIMS. Co-founder of Moving Castle and the production side of the duo AObeats’ finely tuned production collides with London’s singer-songwriter and producer SAKIMA. Drawing influence from both your typical charting pop music as well as the trap influenced dance music dominating the clubs for the past few years.

With a steady stream of music coming the pair the two are bound for a bright future. Their debut EP is to release, and elaborated on their sound with ones to watch with a summation of their new track “Ride”

“‘Ride is meant to be like a drunk memory or moment; there’s no real attachment to anything or anyone tangible. It’s mostly a visceral sexual experience that balances between being tasteful and just straight up dark.”
