The town of Abersoch in Wales is an unlikely location to hold a festival. The town itself seems rather quiet, with some lovely beaches and a few nice restaurants and bars. However, for one weekend in July, it’s home to the biggest wakeboarding festival in Europe – Wakestock.

For three days, the town becomes overrun with festival goers, who catch a shuttle bus from the festival site and spend their day basking in the sunlight and checking out the wakeboarding competitions. The crowds head back to the festival as it gets later and the music starts kicking off, with bands and DJs of all styles playing across three stages. When the music ends, everyone heads back to the campsite where the party continues and before long, it’s the next morning and you’re on another shuttle bus to the beach.

Shout out of the festival goes to Wiley for not showing up to play his set, showing true respect to his fans (of whom there can’t be many left considering his recent festival dropouts).
