Raleigh Ritchie (or Grey Worm from Game of Thrones as he is better known) has been the talk of the town for quite a while now and it’s made a great impact for his music career; he sold out Manchester Club Academy and it was an epic one! With two EPs out which have both received excellent reviews, people can’t wait to see him and everyone is piling into the Academy with drinks in hand.

RAYE is on first, an elegant and charismatic female-led RnB vocal with an electro backing band which worked wonders. Her powerful voice warmed the crowd right up for Raleigh Ritchie.

The crowd are getting restless as it gets to 9:15, and Ritchie’s instrumentalists start off with an eerie intro before he leaps onto the stage straight into ‘Werld is Mine’, saying how happy he is to be in Manchester for his final night of the tour.

The set continued with ‘A Moor’ and ‘Cowards’, before the show had to be paused to stop a fight between two fans at the front barrier. Ritchie made the brawlers break it up and shake hands, then shouted to the fans “There will be no fighting in here tonight, I wanna feel the love!”

As the night starts to come to an end, the crowd eagerly await an encore, but they already know what’s coming: ‘Stronger Than Ever’ and ‘The Greatest’ of course! Ritchie just needs to keep on doing what he’s doing and he’s certain to go places, keep an eye out for another tour because you wont want to miss out.
