New York’s pop-punkers State Champs are back with a brand new album, announced today with the release of an epic new song ‘Dead And Gone’. The album, titled ‘Living Proof’ is set to be released June 15th via Pure Noise Records.
‘Living Proof’ is State Champs third full-length studio album and the follow up to 2015’s Around The World And Back and is said to be the bands most ambitious and cohesive work to date. The band was worked on in two sessions with legendary John Feldman and late the two who helped make ATWAB as great as it is; Mike Green and Kyle Black.
The band were lucky enough to have big names in the genre helping out with the writing process like Feldman, All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth and on for the lead single ‘Dead And Gone’, Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus.
On the album, vocalist Derek Discanio said; “Living Proof has a lot to do with independence, and finding the independence within you, embracing the mixed emotions that fall in your lap a lot of the time.”
Pre-orders for the album are available now via Impericon. The band are also set to play the Jagermeister stage at this years Slam Dunk Festival coming up in May. The video for Dead and Gone can be seen above.
