Just when you think it could not get any better. Belgium’s Groezrock Festival has supplemented its already over-flowingly punktastic line-up by announcing 18 (Yes, EIGHTEEN) more bands. Adding to their annual celebration of punk rock in all its shapes and sub-genres, the festival has asked the raging Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes to join the party, no doubt delighted in rejoining their Kerrang! Tour-mates Sum 41. Not only this but the Dave Hause-fronted The Falcon, Canadian punkers PUP and the Canterbury-based Moose Blood. Perhaps our favourite inclusion to Groezrock are the UK’s hottest rising punk band, Muncie Girls, who earlier this month blessed us with the release of their incredible debut album From Caplan to Belsize.

The full list of new bands is as follows:
Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes
The Falcon
The Dirty Nil
Moose Blood
Much The Same
Knockout Kid
Bury Your Dead
The Bennies
Not On Tour
Muncie Girls
Double Veterans
Coma Commander
Tangled Horns
Off The Cross

The festival, which will take place Friday 29th and Saturday 30th April in the small Belgian village of Meerhout, is celebrating its 25th year and already has a mouthwateringly enticing bill. Less Than Jake, Frank Turner, Dillinger Four, Hatebreed, Sick Of It All, Face to Face, Four Year Strong, letlive, Saosin, Youth of Today, Modern Baseball are just a few of the bands preparing to bring the punkified noise over the two day festival. Additionally Rancid are playing an EU-exclusive headline show, performing the entirety of their classic 1995 album …And Out Come The Wolves. If one is even slightly into the punkier side of rock, they will no doubt find something to be overly excited about with this year’s Groezrock.

Stay tuned for our upcoming preview of the festival.

Tickets are €98 for both days with an additional charge for camping and can be found at http://www.groezrock.be/en/tickets
