Even though the acts have been announced for quite some time, it seems that V Festival is still managing to create mass excitement even at these latter stages. Recent details have emerged about the sheer scale of Justin Bieber’s headlining set and is alleged to be the most challenging production in the 21 year history of the fest. Apparently 800 gallons of water specifically at a temperature of 40 degrees is going to come plummeting down on singer at some point. He is the headliner so why not?
In just over three weeks thousands of people from up and down the country will be pilling into both Hylands Park and Weston Park for the event. Currently headliner Bieber is celebrating knocking Drake off the top of the Spotify Global Streaming Charts with his new track with Major Lazer and MØ. Unless you’ve got tickets to his upcoming UK arena tour, this will Bieber’s only UK festival appearance this year so grab your mates and some tickets, you certainly don’t want to miss it.
The other night’s headliner, Rihanna returns after a five year break from the festival and is raring to dazzle with tracks from her new album ‘Anti’ alongside the songs we all know and love. Australian superstar Sia is also lined-up to perform an astonishing set after her outstanding Coachella performance and internationally renowned DJ David Guetta will there to blow the crowd away.
The tickets for this year’s festival are very limited so get them while you still can, and in the meantime you can check out the stage splits that have recently been announced and gorge your eyes on the amount of talented musicians gracing the four music stages. Also appearing at the festival across the weekend are Bebe Rexha, Halsey, Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Year & Years, Tom Odell, Tinie Tempah, Bastille, Kaiser Chiefs and DNCE to name only a few. For the most supreme party of the summer, V Festival is the only place to be.
