Almost three years after the release of his fourth full length record Centinela, LA-based indie-folk daydreamer yellowbirddd (Liam McCormack) is back and we are pleased to premiere the video for his latest track, ‘Frogtown’, directed by Emma Cole.

With McCormack telling us that his upcoming album You’re Already in Paradise will be a full band production rather than a singer/songwriter effort, it’s no surprise that ‘Frogtown’ comes as a progression of style from previous releases. The heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies that we’ve come to expect from yellowbirddd remain, but in the context of a hazy synth-pop track dipped in nostalgia.

You’re Already in Paradise is set to be a “game changer” for yellowbirddd. Working with producers Peter Recine and Joanna Katcher to transform a number of tracks written over the last two years, now is your chance to be a part of it all. The album is currently being crowdfunded over at Indiegogo and by backing the project, you can get yourself anything from a copy of the record to a custom song, written and recorded by yellowbirddd, just for you.

Recording will be taking place in January with an expected release date of spring 2017. Until then, keep an eye on the Indiegogo campaign for updates and check out the ‘Frogtown’ video above!
