Leeds band Weirds have released a brand new music video for their song ‘Old World Blues’. The track is taken from their standout debut album ‘Swarmculture’, which was released earlier this year via Alcopop! Records. The video is a fuzzy display of 3D effects and kaleidoscopic visuals and can be watched above.

On the track, vocalist Aidan Razzall says; “Lyrically, Old World Blues is quite claustrophobic, and I really wanted to get a sense of entrapment and anger across. The title was a phrase that had been kicking around in discussion for a while, and just stuck- it became the perfect banner for the slouching, drunken feel of the track.”

Old World Blues is sure to be heard on the bands upcoming UK tour, which will see Weirds starting in Liverpool this Saturday. Aptly named, Weirds offer up the opposite to an easy listening performance with high energy throughout. Catch them on the following:
