Nick Mulvey’s new single ‘Cucurucu’ is elevating and moving. Mulvey has combined his beautifully written lyrics with great acoustic guitar work, accompanied by cheerful toe-tapping beats. The song speaks of fond childhood memories and the youthful feelings of “yearning to belong”, his warm tones somewhat a cross between Jack Johnson and Luke Pritchard from The Kooks. It is incredibly catchy and easy to listen to again and again.

With a similar sound to his previous single ‘Nitrous’, Mulvey demonstrates his refreshing and individual style that will be welcomed onto the music scene with open arms. ‘Cucurucu’ has received great praise from Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, who named it his “hottest record” on 14th January. It is an upbeat song that will put a spring back into anyone’s step, and will make a perfect radio favourite for the summer festival season.

‘Cucurucu’ will be released on 3rd March 2014 and, for those that can’t wait, it can be streamed below via Mulvey’s SoundCloud channel.
